WCL have been awarded a 3 year framework contract to support the opening of Academies, Free Schools, University Technical Colleges (UTCs) and Studio Schools by the Department for Education (DfE).
The Government is expanding its programme of Academies, Free Schools, University Technical Colleges and Studio Schools, giving schools greater freedoms to innovate and raise standards. The new framework contract represents a significant investment by the Government in these flagship policies and covers the period September 2011 to August 2014. It provides the full range of the services needed for the expanded Academies Programme and the new Free Schools Programme, including Project Management and Educational Services to ensure these new school projects are completed on time and to budget.
Kieron White, Managing Director of WCL said: “We are delighted to have been awarded such an important contract with the DfE. We believe it reflects WCL’s experience and expertise in delivering important programmes in Education and our commitment to the Public Sector.”
