WCL
Children and Families

WCL have worked on every aspect of the Every Child Matters agenda in DCSF since the Green Paper in 2003.  As a result we have in-depth experience of working with clients in central, regional and local government in this area. We understand the policy context, the delivery chain, the challenges and ways of working from front-line service delivery through to central government strategy. So whether it is facilitating a workshop with looked-after children or analysing data to present to ministers, we have experience, expertise and a passion to achieve results.

WCL have been involved in numerous projects within the Children and Families area. From managing the Every Child Matters programme to producing the delivery plan for implementing the recommendations of the Laming Review, we have worked in early years, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, looked-after children and child poverty to help identify efficiencies, deliver and manage projects, implement pilots, devise management information systems, manage stakeholders and develop strategies with key stakeholders and front-line staff, such as the Children's Workforce Strategy.
