WCL has worked extensively within the schools sector, gaining a level of experience and knowledge that enables us to service the changing requirements of a wide range of policy teams. We develop close and trusted relationships with all our clients and we recognise the skills and sensitivity that are needed to work in such a diverse and complex area. 

WCL has been supporting DCSF in all three City Challenge areas since late 2008. We have already generated £50,000 in efficiency savings for the Department in one local authority and we have defined new ways of working with boroughs and schools to drive sustainability and encourage innovation within the system.

We also designed a programme of nine regional conferences for the Director General, Schools Directorate, to encourage debate and involvement in the 21st Century Schools White Paper.
